My main goal is the safety and health of my clients and team and I plan to protect that by providing a clean, safe environment.
To give you peace of mind during this uncertain time, I wanted to let you know that my professional kit and work station are always clean and disinfected. I always follow the strict cleaning and disinfecting protocols regulated by our local agencies even before COVID-19. But now I’ve adopted even safer precautions and placed an even greater emphasis on deep cleaning and being more mindful than ever.
I remain committed to continually evaluating what must be done to meet the needs of my customers and adhere to, and exceed both the CDC Guidelines and State Regulations.
Here are some key things that I do to protect my business and offer our clients safe services:
Completed courses on Salon/Spa Infection Control and earned Certificates related to COVID-19, OSHA, and HIPPA regulations.
I wipe down, clean, and disinfect using EPA registered products all surfaces, tables, and chairs between clients and at the beginning and end of each day.
Disinfect all bags on the inside and outside, paying close attention to handles and wheels.
I wash my hands properly before starting services on clients.
In addition, I use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol as an extra step during services.
My brushes/tools are kept clean and separated for each client, they are stored in sealed individual bags.
Allowing more time in between clients (which I have always done) for turning the room/station, ensuring that it’s disinfected, tidy, and presentable.
Keeping all applicators in covered, sealed containers when not in use.
All eyeliners and lip liners are sanitized and disinfected before and after each use.
I will never “double dips” brushes directly into cream/liquid products.
I never apply mascara, lipstick, or gloss on clients directly out of the tube unless I’m giving you the product afterwards to keep.
My tools, from tweezers to brushes, are wiped down and all products cleaned before I pack up my kit after I complete a job.
A new set of gloves is used for every client, and at times may be changed during service.
I will be wearing PPE such as masks, face shields, gloves, and changing smocks in between clients. I will supply a clean cape per client as well.
I will be foregoing any air circulating services such as blow outs, or airbrushing makeup due to the lack of research of how this could spread the virus until we have more information.
Screening Clients using a thermal contact less thermometer .
I practice these same guidelines at your home, location, or hotel.
We have implemented some new safety rules we expect our clients to follow as well:
Maintain social distancing as best as possible.
All clients are required to wear a mask, if you do not have one, you can purchase a single use one from us for $5.
Washing/Sanitizing Hands upon arrival and before departing.
Please do not bring any guests with you to appointments.
If you arrive early for your appointment, remain in your car..
We will be limiting our small talk, but trust me, we will bring a dope playlist to sway to.
Additional time is needed during appointments to follow sanitation guidelines, so prepare for that.
In addition to these every day steps, I am also extra diligent to ensure that if I am exhibiting any signs of symptoms of the illness, I will remain home.
Likewise, if you have an appointment and aren’t feeling your best. Please email me or call and I will be happy to reschedule your appointment. I am waiving our 24 hour cancellation policy until further notice in an effort to do our part to protect our community.
Finally, I will continue to closely monitor and educate myself during this developing situation and will make adjustments according to state and federal guidelines.
